Having collaborated with Red Elephant – Formerly FSGS in the past, Janie Owen-Bugh, a freelance designer, was confident that we could help her create unique interior signs for GRACE Grapevine, a community service organization. For the initial meeting, we met up with her to figure out together which materials and methods would best suit the layered, 3D design with arches requested by the client. Ultimately, we decided together that clear, non-glare acrylic with a second surface print and clear acrylic standoffs was ideal for this project. Janie worked with the client to help them with direction and all creative decisions, while we handled all the technical aspects – from file creation to fabrication and installation – needed to make their vision a reality:
Janie said, “I chose FSGS because I had worked with them years ago on another project and they did an amazing job. I knew right away after meeting with Laurie that it was going to be a great partnership. We worked really well together. GRACE Grapevine hired me to come up with a design that wasn’t “cookie cutter.” Laurie, along with Red Elephant – Formerly FSGS, provided creative options all along the way and gave me freedom to come up with out-of-the box ideas. When it comes to the finished product, their quality and professionalism is outstanding. The client is very happy with the results.”
We are grateful to work with such wonderful design professionals and are looking forward to collaborating with Janie again on the next phase of signage for GRACE Grapevine and other future projects!
